Ambitious MPhys Graduate with a passion for quantum information and quantum computing. Proficient problem-solving skills developed through an industrial placement at TRUMPF Laser Ltd. Strong analytical skills developed through university experimental labs and during my R&D project at TRUMPF Laser Ltd.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills exhibited through exploring and presenting various aspects of quantum technology in my dissertation. Currently enrolled in the Qiskit Global Summer School and working towards the Qiskit Developer Certification. Seeking a career in the quantum computing field.

• Collaborated with world class R&D and cutting-edge laser technology and learned from seasoned professionals in the field
• Utilised a spectral and spatial imaging technique (S2 technique) to optimize the splice between characteristically different optical fibres
• Automated the measurement equipment so it operates faster by modifying python code.
• Conducted Fourier analysis on the data to visualize the modal output of a fibre splice and in doing so, vastly developed my Python programming skills.
• Researched about high power fibre lasers and their applications by quickly parsing through innumerable academic papers.
• Refined presentation skills to effectively communicate intricate findings to field experts
• Manipulation of the S2 kit to utilise it as a pressure sensor for optical fibres – publication submitted to CLEO/Europe-EQEC 2023
