My name is Atseridi Winston Agbuke II (Ridi).
I am currently partaking in a Higher Education Course for Science at Yeovil College.
I am doing this course to help me prepare for the next school year as I plan to progress to degree/course in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering at their University Centre on campus.
That would be ideal but what I really want is to gain an Apprenticeship role in the Aerospace/ Aviation field as I believe I’m capable of doing this in a great way, I also believe I have the qualifications for it; my Higher Education course would set me up for even more success in the field.
I work well under pressure and interact with my peers in a professional manner.
I use great initiative to answer questions accurately and effectively and would love to be able to apply these skills in a work environment.
I feel I would be a good fit for your company as I have a passion for Aeronautics, Aerospace and almost everything plane related, whether that be playing Microsoft Flight Simulator X on my laptop, or watching never ending clips about the F22 Raptor on YouTube.
I have always been fascinated by the incredible ability of individuals to create such remarkable machines that could be used for so many different things and I would like to the same.
My first dream was to be a pilot even though life has its ups and downs and I’ve had to reassess a couple decisions along the way.
I ended up trying pursuing a career in IT/ online user interfaces, and as a result I have completed a couple web design/ coding courses in past couple of years as well.
I have a knack for demonstrating confidence in all areas of my work, I identify errors very quickly and I’m always willing to learn more.
I know I’m capable of doing everything I set my mind to, as long as I am willing to give it my all and put in the necessary time and effort, I just need the opportunity.
I currently work as a Customer Service Agent at the Screwfix contact centre in their head office.
