Currently, my primary responsibility involves assisting incarcerated individuals in their journey toward rehabilitation and reintegration into society. I have consistently worked to help them address the root causes of their actions, develop coping strategies, and ultimately prevent re-offending. Through this experience, I have honed my ability to engage individuals, foster positive behavior change, and provide the necessary support to create a lasting impact.
My goal in life is to extend my commitment to helping those less fortunate, even when challenges are of their own making. I am dedicated to uplifting individuals who might otherwise be overlooked, and I find opportunities everywhere to continue this mission on a broader scale.
I currently work at MCF-Togo, which is a minimum-security prison in Minnesota. It is a 6-month, military-based, early-release program where we take men who are currently serving sentences for non-violent offenses and we get them ready for their release.
I have previously worked as a Sheriff's Deputy, Emergency Medical Technician, Behavioral Health Unit Assistant, and more. My entire professional experience can be summed up as, “Looking to serve my communities, and help people."
I have a 2-year Associate of Applied Science degree in Law Enforcement and became a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician.
