I've graduated MBBS degree in 2017. I've got GMC Registration in 2024. I had done 6-week clinical attachment at Barnsley Hospital and recently got ALS certification from RCUK. I have 7 years of experience in clinical field.
I had worked as an intern doctor at 4 tertiary government hospitals of Myanmar which is equivalent to FY1. As a developing country, we have large discrepancy between doctors and patients ratio and we had to do many clinical procedures like venipuncture, IV cannulation, urinary catheterisation, Ryle's tube insertion, pleural tapping, ascites fluid tapping by ourselves. Only after satisfactory result, I could get graduate a MBBS.
Then, after my graduation, I worked at one of biggest private hospitals of Yangon, Myanmar for 3 years which is equivalent to FY2. I've got many experiences while working at that hospital. I had been posted at different departments and got chances to learn many clinical skills including ET tube insertion, how to read CT or MRI, how to do lumbar puncture, etc. At there, I have to work 240 hours per month with various day and night shifts.
Then, I moved to 24-hour specialist clinic with Chief Clinical Officer role. I am currently working there for past 4 years. At there, duties and responsibilities are quite similar to GP role in NHS.
I'd passed all necessary examinations to practice in UK and got GMC Registration with license to practice medicine. I had recently got my ALS certification from RCUK.
