Ayaz Ahmed

I am a Kurdish asylum seeker with permission to work in shortage occupations such as mechanical engineering Job code 2122.

I am currently looking for a traineeship in mechanical engineering. I am willing to work hard to gain a profession. I am 25. My previous experience was as a labourer in the construction industry and as a professional footballer.

• I learned my football in the streets of Iraq as I did not have Iraqi nationality I could only play in friendly matches for local teams. I used to play with Zahko Sports Club who are now a division one team of the Iraqi Premier league. I was living in Rambusi, Iraq when Daesh (isis) began taking people and killing them. I left Iraq and began my asylum journey where I played for an Austrian Team.

I have no formal education as I grew up in Iraq. However I have taught myself to speak English and am very willing to learn a new skill.
