Recently graduated with a First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Applied Biomedical Science from Coventry University. HCPC registered with successful completion of the IBMS Training Registration Portfolio in the Microbiology Department at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Hands-on-experience in the healthcare sector through both placement and professional roles, providing a solid foundation in laboratory practices and patient-centred care. Currently seeking graduate or entry-level opportunities as a newly qualified Biomedical Scientist.

• Working as part of the POCT team providing an efficient, cost-effective and timely POCT service to patients.
• Performing COVID-19/ Flu testing following relevant SOPs.
• Correctly reporting and authorising patient results via LIMS.
• Handling a range of POCT queries, relaying and resolving them with appropriate members of the team, as required. 
• Conducting stock checks and orders for all POCT analyser consumables, as required.
• Performing both IQC and EQA processes for all POCT analysers.
