In my current position, I've been wearing many hats:
- I lead a team of 10 spread across the UK, India, Canada, and the US. We work closely with various departments on everything from web development to Salesforce integration and cybersecurity.
- Recently, I spearheaded the implementation of a Security Incident Response Plan. It was a big undertaking that involved coordinating with IT, legal, and other teams. We ran simulations to test it out and keep improving it.
- I've also managed several digital and data projects using agile methods. This included web development with WordPress and Joomla, and setting up Master Data Management systems.
- One of my proudest achievements was automating our eBook self-sampling process. We saw a 60% increase in sampling and cut costs by 10%.
- I've also led projects to improve website accessibility and expand payment options on our e-commerce platforms.
Throughout all of this, I've kept a close eye on budgets, resources, and potential risks.
