Hello,
I'm an aspiring chef who's been raised and brought up in Holland and North Yorkshire - Because of this I've developed a strong passion for fresh high quality produce and an interest in growing and farming my own produce where possible. I aim to fight against food waste and where I'm able try to recycle waste by any means.
I've been in hospitality since I was 15 working FOH and BOH, I feel like I can do more with myself and want too.

I've worked a lot of FOH in my 5 years in the industry starting as a server and working my way up to a mixologist, This has been fun and has taught me a lot about people skills and management but it's now time I feel to follow my passion and move into BOH.
The only formal professional chef work I've done so far is prep work for pub kitchens but I've had a lot of none professional experience as I come from a family of cooks and have been doing it since I was a young boy.
I studied food in school for GCSE which supplied me with a basic knowledge for nutrition and health and safety, aside from that all my knowledge about food and cooking is self taught.
I have done courses for my: COSHH, HACCP, Fire Safety Awareness, Emergency First Aid Awareness, Food and Safety Level 2.
