Energy systems specialist with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and deep expertise in whole-system energy modelling, hydrogen pathways analysis, and techno-economic assessment of low-carbon technologies. Experienced in building national-scale multi-scenario models using OSeMOSYS, processing large datasets using Python and Advanced Excel, and translating complex system-level insights into clear, decision-ready recommendations for government, industry, and policy stakeholders. Currently developing a UK electricity flexibility model using real NGESO and Elexon data, alongside multi-scenario whole-system models analysing hydrogen, gas, and electricity transition pathways to 2050.
Particularly interested in how whole-system modelling and data-driven analysis can inform Net Zero policy and investment decisions at national and international scale.
