Working in a variety of positions, always adapting myself to different environments and cultures has molded me into a quick learner. My team based roles have taught me to work smarter as a supportive team worker to complete tasks in the most effective manner. In addition to organising events through the college, I have worked to supplement my own learning by volunteering at a range of external events, acquiring knowledge and understanding of key event areas, from concept creation to funding, budgeting, marketing, legislation and health & safety.

• Providing various treatments including: relaxation, hot stone, foot, scalp, and full body massage and facials. - Receptioning and assisting clients with the consultation forms and assessing them. - Keeping the common spa areas and my room clean and tidy. Edinburgh First, Event support assistant - Jan’19 to Aug’19 Duties:

• Contribute to the achievement of customer satisfaction by providing a consistently high level of customer service in line with departmental procedures. - Ensure pre-event checks are carried out at facilities/venues to be used, ensuring that they are as set out in the customer’s booking contract. Liaise with supporting departments when necessary. - Undertake various clerical tasks including filing, photocopying, word processing (Microsoft Office) and making use of the in-house IT systems.

Terminal V Festival, Ingliston Exhibition Centre, Edinburgh (8000pax), Gate steward - 1 st of April 2018 Main artists: Kölsch // BICEP // RØDHÅD Duties:

• Giving out wristbands and handing ticket stubs to the relevant team members. - Checking and keeping track of ticket validity on entry gates. - Getting ticket-holders safely through the entry gates and helping the event staff keep track of numbers and attendees.

Corporate dinner benefiting Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, Edinburgh, Event assistant - 6 th of October 2017 Duties:

• Overseeing four tables and spotting bidders in the main auction to help the auctioneer. - Collecting and counting cash raised on the night, under the supervision of ECHC staff - Liaising with catering/serving staff if necessary and ECHC Staff.

Edinburgh College Graduation 2017, Event assistant - 28 th of September 2017 Role: Duties:

• Ensure successful registration of all graduates attending and issuing guest tickets. - Ensuring a smooth process of graduation on stage when required. - Supporting staff to resolve any issues at registration.
