About

I am currently a Primary School Teacher seeking a healthier and happier work life balance.

I have always had a keen interest in interior design, and am always seeking opportunities to be creative. Within the last year, I have undertaken a course in interior design with the British College of Interior Design. I absolutely loved this course, and realised my urge to spend my days doing something I love and enjoy.

Whilst I have never worked in interior design, my current role as a teacher has many transferable skills which would support me. I have excellent communication and problem solving skills, which are vital in the role that you are advertising. I am patient, enthusiastic, creative and am able to manage my time effectively.

I am a hard working individual, who enjoys transforming spaces into intentional, purposeful rooms that meet a client‘s needs. As a teacher, I always go above and beyond to ensure my pupils get the very best- I know I would absolutely do the same for your clients.

Experience

I am currently a Primary School Teacher working for the Warrington Primary Academy Trust. I have been a teacher for 7 years, having graduated in 2015.

Within those years, I spent time doing supply work, going to different schools and teaching all year groups. This definitely made me a better teacher and taught me to be adaptable, a better problem solver and quick thinker.

Whilst I love teaching children, the workload is unmanageable and the expectations are constantly moving- sadly meaning many teachers are leaving the profession.

During supply work, I sought other career paths I want to take. I have always loved everything interiors, including changing my own house frequently! I love being creative and looking at other designs. This is my true passion, and I would love to be given the opportunity to pursue it.
