I am a charismatic, openminded, social young adult who is searching for a part time job that would allow me to not only gain further work experience but also develop and add to my set of skills and prepare me for jobs in the future. As well as working well in a team, I have found that over the past year I have grown in my independence and can work efficiently and productively on my own. I am a quick learner and can adapt to new situations easily.
People would describe me as a people's person, and I enjoy spending time and going out with my friends often.
Sales assistant at Windmill (2021-09 – 2023-01)
I worked in the kid's shoe shop as a sales assistant and as a trained shoe fitter. I underwent training to correctly measure and fit children's shoes and completed other maintenance tasks throughout the day. For the most part of 2022, I worked full days by myself in the shop attending to customers. This job has allowed me to further improve my social skills through communicating with kids and their parents whilst also advancing my practical skills such as problem solving and leadership.
Babysitting has been my most consistent job since the age of 13. I began looking after my younger brother then grew to care for my 5-year-old and 2-year-old cousins for 4 hours a day multiple times a week. This included taking them to the local park, cooking for and feeding them and entertaining them until their parents got home.
Furthermore, I babysit children in the local neighbourhood including picking them up from / dropping them off at school, clubs and camps. I have cared for children as young as 6 months.
I have taken on the role of editing numerous videos for my dad's creative production company. This job requires a detailed knowledge of technology and different software and some aspect of creative freedom from which I have acquired an extensive knowledge on.
