I am a multi skilled professional team player with a desire to achieve a dynamic and long term opportunity that promises development. I am experienced in telecommunications and construction. In my roles I have the ability to use an Optical Power meter reader, fluke testers, netscout copper cable testers, ODTR and have an awareness on how to terminate telecommunications cables of varying types (including fibre, cat5e and cat6).
At my own expense I have been studying 18th edition wiring with a desire to undertake further courses in both electrical and IT work. This includes structured data cabling (Fibre and copper), CCTV installation and electrical testing in fixed wiring to work alongside my recent PAT testing qualification. My most recent experience has seen the focus on building fibre optic broadband networks in various locations across West Midlands and South West Region.
Starting as a project coordinator then as a build manager before being a quality auditor the experience is in assisting in auditing and improving processes to ensure fibre optic broadband network is built efficiently. This includes assisting with creation of Fibre multi source splicing & Fibre customer installation. Experienced with software like QGIS, Celcius, Callidus, Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Outlook.
My role as a cable support engineer has been put at risk of redundancy. I am seeking a long term career with opportunities to learn and grow within a team.
