I have always been interested in films and animation especially and would love to work in the industry helping to create great stories. I really enjoying coming up with story’s and breaking them down and finding out what the real meaning behind the plot is, figuring out what the best camera angle is for the shot and which tell the story point better, coming up with awesome camera moves to really sell the shot and make it as dramatic and dynamic as possible.
I have been drawing for around 4 years now and have done online courses on certain topics like dynamic poses and how to draw comic pages. Along the way I feel I have learnt a lot, but have so much more to learn. I started off drawing things such as comic illustrations and comic pages as I am a fan of comic books also but in the past few years I have really got into storyboarding as I feel it is a very important part of the production cog as it’s a blue print for the finished product and I just loved to come up with stories.
I love to always learn new things and want develop my drawing and storytelling skills as much as I can, if it’s something new that could really benefit my storytelling, I am always up for learning how to do it. I can use software programs such as Clip studio paint, storyboard pro and have an understanding of photoshop.
Although I live in England, I would be more than willing to work here remotely or even if the opportunity came up to be able to re-locate to the United States, I would defiantly be up for doing that.
Thankyou for taking your time to read about me.
although I haven't managed to get professional work i feel that I am more than capable of delivering the services I have stated. I am a fast worker and will always go that extra mile to do more work for example I usually draw everyday of the week for 5-6 hours a day and more on my days off my day job. however if I was offered a full time position I would be able to leave me day job and work up to 10 hours a day.
I have successfully completed a year’s long intense storyboard art course in a mentorship program where we learnt a lot of topics from correct screen direction, staging and different camera angles and moves also cinema language and creating animatics, as well as covering topics on how to board out action, drama to comedic scenes correctly along with many other topics.
I also have a diploma in art and design.
