Volunteer police officer with the same powers and uniform as a full-time colleague. As a result the job role was more or less replicate of what I did during my time as a Police and Special Constable in the Metropolitan Police, except more emphasis on economic crime and fraud. Currently I am a Level 2 public order trained officer which is a role that relies strongly upon communication, organisational, teamwork and conflict management skills.

Volunteer - OSA Conservation - OSA Peninsula, Costa Rica

I took another opportunity to volunteer at OSA conservation which is an administrative area managed by SINAC for the purposes of conservation in Costa Rica, on the southern Pacific coast region. It contains two National Parks, and numerous Wildlife refuges and other types of nature reserve. My role as a volunteer encompassed numerous tasks including but not limited to checking camera traps, tagging wildlife images with the correct species, tree gathering, turtle hatchery construction and monitoring bat boxes.

Ski Instructor Course Trainee - CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructor Alliance) - Banff, Canada

Participated in an 11-week ski instructor training course in Alberta, Canada where I successfully completed my Level 1 and 2 certifications. The training was delivered by CSIA which is an internationally recognised body.

Volunteer - Nakavango Conservation - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

I took the opportunity to volunteer at Nakavango Conservation Programme which is an effort committed to making a difference through the integration of conservation, education and community. Some of my tasks involved clearing roads, repairing fences of the preserve, picking fruit and vegetables from the local farm, assisting with building a nearby school and destroying poisonous vegetation.
