My goal is to gain experience in an Assistant Psychologist role, particularly working with ASD, atypical neurodevelopment/brain injury, children or mental health, with the view to build on my studies, volunteering, and work experience to gain the experience required to undertake a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
I have recently completed an MSc in Child Development from UCL, which sparked a significant interest in autism spectrum disorder and mental health difficulties in young people and throughout the lifespan. I ran Nightline at Warwick University, an overnight and anonymous student-led service to support mental health in students on campus that had 120 volunteers. I now volunteer for the central Nightline Association charity to support over 30 Nightlines throughout the UK.
I have experience working with school children with complex disabilities and educational needs, alongside previous commercial experience in the recruitment and volunteering sectors.
