QC Microbiology Technician at PepsiCo International (2025-10 – Present)

• Perform high-throughput quality control microbiological tests supporting sterility assurance and analytical tests on the food samples. Assist in the development, method validation and testing of the core simple and core complex quantitative testing methods for contaminants in samples and conduct environmental monitoring programs.
• Proficiently handling the sample preparation of numerous types such as crisps, biscuits, oats, porridge, snack pellets, nuts, and raisins, (Fried or Baked). Perform analysis of more than 470 samples per week single handed with strict compliance of GMP and QC Standards. Also, conduct environmental monitoring periodically to support contamination control and quality assurance to maintain clean room.
• Prepare inoculum, media and cultures for microbiological testing such as bio-burden, sterility testing, and microbial identification. Maintain accurate results and quality of work, food safety and strictly following the asceptic condition and ensuring sterility in the laboratory.

Investigations in deviations to reduce the out of specification results (OOS). Monitor the root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Developed and implemented SOPs when required and quality standards. Maintaining contemporaneous log of samples received from 26 countries over the Europe. Record the Temperature and Humidity of Fridge and Freezers used for storing the QC standards and solutions using the spydaq system. Conducted equipment calibration and instrument maintenance for relevant analyses and reduced instrument downtime by 25% through proactive maintenance time to time. Moreover, ordering laboratory consumables to uphold efficient testing and inspection processes. Assisted in identifying process deviations and implementing corrective actions (CAPA) to improve product quality.
• GMP policies and procedures by completing required COSHH assessments. Maintaining the conformance to HACCP and GFSI- recognized food safety standards, which are consistent with ISO 17025 food safety management principles.

Study Personnel/Laboratory Officer at Ross Life science Ltd (2020-12 – 2023-06)

• Conducted sampling, testing, reporting and validation for more than 105 microbiological and toxicological studies using different samples such as water, pharmaceutical, clinical, food and pesticides through detailed monitoring of temperature, PH levels for more than 500 test organisms including aquatic and terrestrial organisms.
• Ensuring compliance using ISO/IEC-17025 and ISO-5667 standards in all research methodologies, preparation and amendment of SOPs resulting in zero non-compliance incidents. Reporting writing, interpreting results in physical and digital formats.
• Led and coordinated daily microbiological testing activities, prioritizing workload according to sample urgency, testing requirements and laboratory capacity while maintaining GMP and data integrity requirement.
• The Microbiological testing was conducted using various methods TVC, Antibiotic Susceptibility Test, Identification of the microbe and Sterility assessments in the lab. Used controlled laboratory environments to prepare media, broth, and test for sterility and practice aseptic handling skills.
• Operated, calibrated and maintained approximately 30 of the analytical equipment’s periodically including Micropipettes (10µl-1000µl), Analytical weighing balance, Centrifuge, Autoclave, Water bath, Spectrophotometer, Microscope, ELISA-Plate Reader and Washer, Sonicator. Handling full accountability for the decontamination of laboratory equipment, ensuring that all procedures for COSHH Risk Assessments are followed.
• Examined 200+ regulatory documents with the QA (Quality Assurance) team of 8 members to make sure they adhere to the GDP and GLP during internal and external audits. Executed and supported method validation studies including accuracy, precision, linearity, specificity and robustness in compliance with the ISO Standards.
• Lead totally 20 mycological studies using 10 different samples from an American client (SCJ) to check the antifungal property of their product. Communicated technical findings and study reports to the client and QA team for this study, achieved 90% of results gave an increase of 50% in getting more studies from the same client.
