Designing Safer Cities through the lens of Women's everyday Mobility

• Designed and led a mixed-methods engagement and research methodology – go – along interviews, temporal observation surveys and spatial analysis, to surface how residents actually experience and evaluate safety in everyday public space.
• Built the research argument on feminist geography (Kern, Valentine, Pain) and gendered mobility theory (Uteng, Criado, Perez) reframing safety as a question of service and design accountability rather than individual behaviour.
• Authored six transferable good-practice principles, benchmarked with case studies from Vienna, Barcelona, Melbourne and New York.
• Converted qualitative and spatial findings into a toolkit, translating academic research into actionable guidance.
