Since graduating university I have had a number of roles within several sectors. I travelled to Australia to live, work and play cricket for a period of two years. Whilst in Australia I had a number of great opportunities to work with children that had become disengaged from the learning environment. My role was to re-engage these students and find ways to enhance their learning out with the typical learning setting. However, due to COVID-19 I had to return to Scotland.
Most recently I have been working with Cricket Scotland as a RDO. This role has allowed me to mix my passion/hobby with work life, I have found this extremely enjoyable. Within this role I aim to grow cricket within local communities, have transitions from schools to clubs and provide oppertunity for all, no matter ability, gender, sexual preference, social economical background, religion or nationality .
