Research Analyst/ Transaction Management

· Employed as a consultant for Citibank (Investment bank), supporting them in establishing and effectively managing the credit risk loan data remediation process.

· Collaborating the loan operations team and capital markets team as a part of the credit transaction management team in the EMEA region, understanding the new deals and client requirements, validating the structure of the credit facility proposed, the terms of the syndications, ensuring due diligence and the final closure of deals.

· Drafting and ensuring accuracy of various loan documents, legal agreements, credit approval memos, commitment letters, fee letters, collateral documents and capturing relevant credit risk data after sanction to build an adequate credit risk management system.

· Regular connect with stakeholders, manage escalations, develop and maintain metrics, scorecards and dashboards

· Established a standardised process to analyse data from multiple sources validating dimensions and the impact of data quality issues, and analysing data to identify these issues, and correlate those issues with data specifications and quality rules in the standardised process.

· Coordinated an adequate governance structure for timely connects with stakeholders to discuss data remediation plans, manage escalations and effectively close the remediation process.

· Working knowledge of LYNX, Citi velocity, CitiRisk, ICG Toolbox

· Supporting credit and risk functions of a global bank as a part of the credit risk team

· Address any covenant language that is ambiguous prior to deal closing with business in credit risk.

· Capture of financial & reporting covenants and their associated schedules from the credit agreement into lynx.

· Perform ongoing tracking and monitoring of live & non live covenants (upcoming, overdue or missing schedule covenants)

· Escalating covenant breaches / past dues to the business, in-Business Credit Risk.

· Generate reports from Lynx data into tableau for consumption by other teams responsible for covenant
