I am a mature, enthusiastic professional with excellent communication and organisational skills that I have gained through my varied and challenging work history. The majority of my career to date has been spent working for the West Midlands Police Service and in the military, where I served a combined 35 years. Over the last two years I have been delivering training overseas and in the United Kingdom, involving the military, police, SIA, NHS and private security industry, with class room based delivery, knife defence tactics.

During this period I have delivered training to DVSA, National Resources Wales OPSS and to NHS staff. I have recent experience delivering handcuffing and physical intervention skills to GLAA, Mental Health staff and to SIA staff on initial and top up door supervisor courses. I spent 4 weeks in Nigeria during April 2023 delivering Personal Safety and Behaviour Detection Training to various anti kidnapping staff and customs officers.
I have delivered training to Heathrow airport staff and private clients regarding self defence systems and First Aid
Lead Physical Tactical Training Instructor - West Midlands Police

The role includes the following responsibilities amongst others. The delivery of personal safety training to police personnel of various roles. Delivering enhanced method of entry training, Taser taser training, fitness testing and first aid training. This involved creating bespoke courses, writing lesson plans, schemes of work and power point presentations. I was the lead trainer for student officer PST training for over 100 new police officers.
