Electrical Supervisor (Lead Electrician) at PA Housing (Present)
Manage three in-house electricians and deliver effective electrical testing and inspecting program on occupied dwellings and communal systems
- Organise and manage the EICR programme
- Supervise and carry out Electrical testing and Inspecting
- Assist in the development of an effective electrical testing service regime for OA Housing
- Participate in service review meetings
- Deliver necessary training to team members
- Provide support to repairs/building services team with any relevant maintenance issues
- Advising colleagues of any issues found whilst visiting properties
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and electrical assignments
- Achieve targets and goals set to contribute to the overall effectiveness in the delivery of maintenance services
- Project a positive image of PA Housing by providing an excellent level of customer service
- Adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities
- Potential call out and weekend work
- Cover for other Supervisors as required
- Contribute to the effective and efficient running of the Divisions, achieving targets and objectives
- Promote recognition of diversity in all aspects of service delivery
- Ensure that the services for which the post holder is responsible delivers value for money
- Attend evening meetings and committee meetings where required
- Carry out other duties as directed and commensurate with the grading of the role
