Training on and running 3 separate machines in the flag yard. Making all different colour and sizes of concrete flags. Setting up recipes and checking quality of product. Forklift duties also with licence.

• Making all units for kitchen/bedroom and other specialist units. Cutting, plaining and making solid timber products (dovetail drawers/mantle shelves corbals, solid doors etc) making cutting lists from job sheets and plans. Checking off jobs sheets to make sure jobs are completed to a high standard.
• Went from being an apprentice to moving on to running section and completing jobs from start to finish using own initiative. Working with customers to make job to their spec.
• Skilled in using different tools from saws, plainers, sanders, dovetailers and various hand tools. also learned to read kitchen and bedroom plans and working out materials for each. Also reading cad drawings for specialist furniture and fittings.
