My daily tasks consist of the following;
Liaising with the court, with regards to hearings and document deadlines Updating court bundles for hearings
Working closely with a solicitor to reach court deadlines
Time Keeping.
Liaising with social workers ensure deadlines are met
Managing solicitor’s outlook diary, booking meetings.
Managing my own private law case load Section 7’s and Disclosure matters Assisting the other caseworkers with their workload.
Drafting of legal documents, letters of instructions, statement of facts and briefs for counsel.
Liaising with key agencies, NHS,police and CAFCASS
Loading with key agencies -the NHS, Police, CAFCASS
Answering the helpline, and passing a detailed message to the duty solicitor so they could provide the client with advice.
Booking meetings, booking training for colleagues.
Sorting and distributing post.
I was required to meet strict deadlines and more often than not exceeded them.
Answering calls and emails in relation to specific helplines.
