My journey to the sound industry began with a love for film. I studied a national diploma in film and television production, where I found my love for audio. I then studied a BA in film, majoring in sound design. I have some experience in the sound design field, such as, dialogue recording, mixing, and editing for films.
I am willing and capable to do any role from pre-production to post-production. My primary focus would be on recording (boom operator, recordist, mixing etc.), but I love learning new skills, and am not opposed to working in other areas if needed.
My long-term goal is to become a successful sound engineer, recording dialogue for animation films and run my own studio. I would also like to write and sell my screenplays and see them come to life on screen. I would use this position as a steppingstone to achieve my goals as it will help me understand people and the quality content they love to experience.
I've worked in post production as a dubbing recorder and mixer, a sound assistant for ADR, and as a location sound recordist for an Indie film. I am currently doing freelance sound engineering for a studio in London, where I record radio interviews, voice overs and podcasts.
I have a National Diploma in film and Tv production where I studied everything from preproduction to post production.
I also have a BA in Film Arts where I double majored in Sound design and Screenwriting.
