Experience

Nursery Nurse Assistant - Kids Planning Nursery

(2023-09 - 2024-09)

Completed a two-day-per-week placement within a private nursery setting as part of a work-to-learn programme. During this period, I balanced education while overcoming personal challenges, which helped me develop resilience, maturity, and a strong work ethic.

Supporting the care and supervision of children aged birth to 5 years old.
Assisting with feeding, changing, dressing, and nap times.
Helping to plan and carry out age-appropriate activities to support learning and development.
Encouraging children's social, emotional, and physical growth through play and interaction.
Observing children's progress and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
Working closely with staff members to ensure children received the best possible care.
Developing patience, communication, teamwork, and safeguarding awareness within a professional childcare environment.

Cleaning Services

Regular experience carrying out weekly cleaning services, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and general organisation. This has strengthened my time management, reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.
