As you will see from my CV, i have multiple years experience working in an office environment. I am looking for a local administration role that i can commit myself to fully. I am hard working, reliable & have always worked under my own initiative.
Draughtsman/Surveyor at C.L. Fabrications (2011-02 – Present)
All duties similar to previous employment. These include using Multisuite for BricsCAD 2022, for the preparation of drawings. Issuing both manufacturing and site install instructions. Site surveying for installation of both steelwork & architectural metalworks.
Drawing Office Manager at HLC Engineering Limited (1997-04 – 2011-02)
Initially started employment as a steelwork detailer but was awarded promotion to Drawing Office Manager in 2005. Additional responsibilities include the order and distribution of work through the office, control of information to make up O&M Manuals and responsible for the overall control and order of the files and information for the relevant corresponding contracts. All other duties as previous employment, but with a number of additions.
These include using initially Autocad Releases 13 & 14 and Multisuite 2000, for the preparation of drawings, but more recently using Tekla Structures 3D package. Issuing both manufacturing and site install instructions.
Steelwork Detailer at Quay Fabrications Limited (1995-02 – 1996-12)
Using traditional draughting methods. Duties included preparation of general arrangements and piece small fabrication details. Preparation of material take off sheets for pricing purposes and valuations.
Carrying out site surveys comprising of measurements and levelling. Shop floor supervision and co-ordination of labour in the manufacturing process. General duties involved in following through contracts from conception to completion, including liaison with clients, architects, structural engineers and main contractors personnel.
Steelwork Detailer at Chapman-Riden Limited (1987-01 – 1993-07)
Duties included taking off quantities from drawings for the ordering of materials and bolts, supervision of a trainee draughtsman and shop floor fabrication/site installation.
