I initially joined Pertemps as a Resourcer, where I was responsible for sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interview bookings with clients. I then Progressed to a recruitment consultant for the commercial side of the business, within this role I make sales to new or existing business, carrying out a full 360 role including business development, client relationship management, candidate sourcing, and placement. I predominantly manage a national contract, ensuring consistent delivery of suitable candidates across all departments and maintaining strong client relationships through regular on-site visits.

The role also involves liaising with external organizations, such as employment support programs and charities, to help support individuals into work while meeting client staffing requirements. My responsibilities also include conducting candidate reviews, monitoring performance and sickness as well as general welfare, ensuring compliance and right-to-work checks, processing payroll, and maintaining accurate records.

Resourcer - Greenbean RecruitMent

I worked at Greenbean recruitment as a resourcer. Here my roles and responsibilities were to find the most experienced and suitable candidates to put forward for each role. I would pre-screen candidates CVS to match the criteria specified for each role, meaning I require excellent attention to detail.

I worked on behalf of big clients such as Tesco Bank, National Savings & Investment, Very Sure & Northern Power Grid. This not only developed my skills in the software but also advanced my skills in customer service as I would build a repour with the candidates, adapting every role to fit the candidates needs and wants from the role to make sure it was the right role for them. By doing so I built a trustworthy relationship with each candidate.

I loved this role as I love speaking to people on a day-to-day basis and found the role rewarding. I would speak to the candidates throughout the process end to end meaning I was their sole point of contact. Within this role I managed my own workload alongside working collaboratively with different clients and colleagues.

Beauty therapist - Flawless moments - North Shields

I worked at flawless moments beauty salon in North Shields. My role includes welcoming clients and providing a wide range of beauty treatments and continuously making sure that clients are comfortable throughout their visit and happy with the results. Remaining professional with every client whist building a personal relationship.

Within my role I applied strong knowledge of massage therapy, nail techniques, brow, and lash treatments, Including lash extensions. Working here also helped me gain knowledge of each individual client and adapt treatments to their satisfaction also providing excellent customer service. I also trained new staff members in different treatments.

Sales assistant - indigo sun

I worked at indigo sun tanning salon as a sales assistant, here I gained a lot of skills in customer service in a fast-paced environment including responsibilities of opening and closing of the store, cashing up and generally looking after the salon independently. Providing excellent customer service and building rapport. As well as this I also upsold products including accelerators and block bookings for the sunbeds.

I would often run the shop alone so I would hold full responsibility for the store. This also improved my confidence in sales as I would always excel in my sales target.

Assistant BEAUTICIAN - The Cutting Crew - Battle Hill

I did my work experience at The Cutting Crew in Battle Hill. Here I carried out gel manicures and pedicure treatments for paying clients, maintained a solid knowledge base of all salon products, restocked laundry in all areas of the salon, drained, cleaned, and filled mineral tubs for all guests after each use, worked on reception and called clients to confirm up-coming appointments. Refilled professional salon products as necessary and did general cleaning jobs.

I thoroughly enjoyed working here and believe I have a passion for helping people in the hospitality sector and customer services.

WAITRESS - Marshalls fish and chip shop

I worked at Marshalls fish and chip shop, my role here was a waitress and my responsibilities were taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages. Providing excellent wait service to ensure customer satisfaction and being able to meet the highest standards possible always ensuring the customer is comfortable and pleased with the service provided. This role helped me strive in a busy environment and built up my confidence in the workplace and gave me the ability to work under pressure at a young age.
