As a team member at The Old Hare And Hounds, I work both the bar and the floor in a very large and busy pub in Rednal Birmingham. In the role I manage the large bar solo with serving customers, dealing with the handling of money, regulating bookings and working with the general public. In terms of the floor, I manage it solo, running food, clearing tables and giving guests a friendly atmosphere around the pub, all whilst being sure the the pub is presentable to the public.

I served freshly baked goods to the general public. As well as serving the general public I also managed large wholesale orders and had great feedback from my managers, recognising my iniative and drive.

I hosted and entertained children parties whilst also interacting with parents. My job included preparing venues for parties such as lifting and moving heavy objects and ensuring the areas were safe. I discovered that I work best when I'm around others and thrive when unpredictable challenges are added to the mix.
