I am currently working for Glyndebourne Opera House in the makeup department and occasionally helping with the wig maintained where needed. Having come fresh out of university I have a drive and passion to expand my wig and makeup skills within the theatre world. With with job i want to and am willing to travel anywhere to embrace all experiences and techniques.
I have worked as a makeup supervisor and designer for three different week long theatre shows - ‘Road’, ‘Tectonic’ and ‘The Addams family’.
I have been an assistant on two theatre shows, ‘The changing room’ and ‘Kinky Boots’.
I have made two wigs during self directed projects, and three moustaches - one of which is in The Heights of Abraham Museum, UK, and will be for the next 5 years.
Having worked on three graduate films at Art university Bournemouth, I have also got those different makeup and hair skills that I can apply to theatrical fast pace environments that allow me to do crisp, perfect makeup, quickly.
I am currently a makeup artist for Glyndebourne Opera house where i am doing makeup and hair mainly; including prosthetics, aging makeup, death makeup and black and white makeup. I have also helped with wig/postiche maintenance as well as with costume breaks/maintenance when i have been needed.
I have just finished my Ba(Hons) in hair and makeup for media and performance at Arts University Bournemouth. I am currently waiting upon my results in June to confirm my graduation and grade.
