From 2017 until 2021, I have dedicated myself to gaining my bachelor’s degree in communication design with Honours in illustraTon at RGU Grays School of Art (Aberdeen). Through my studies, I am currently up to date with all ADOBE and Procreate soWware. In addition, due to gaining an HND in Art and Design, I have learned more pracTcal skills as well such as textile design and printmaking.
Further, I am able to use these digital and physical skills side by side with my work on projects. Being a recent graduate, I am eager to showcase my talent as well as adding to my repertoire by gaining more experience in this field. though my specialism is in illustration, I feel I have craWed my own style over the years however would like to have the opportunity to explore where else I can develop my creations in the future by placing these digital and physical talents alongside other industry recognised skills too on projects. Throughout my academic career I have always been involved with Art and Design and have pursued this with my studies from school to college and then to university gaining my degree.
I have always been involved in art and design projects from being a leading member of my senior yearbook design to helping with mural designs in school to helping along with a group of friends to paint murals for the community hospital. At college, my class was asked to be Involved in a fashion show which was held at Stirling Castle that required us to design and then model our work. I also parTcipated in other exhibitons resulting from my degree show to having my work shown in "Design" in their catalogue and in the streets of Glasgow.
