Starting with an Higher National Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, I built a strong foundation in reservoir engineering, drilling techniques, and petroleum recovery.
In 2014, I stepped into the energy sector as a Mechanical Engineer at HCS Control Systems. There, I supported the design of hydraulic and pneumatic power units, umbilical reelers, and subsea structures—gaining early experience in engineering design and project budgeting.
This then led to a BSc in Geology & Petroleum Geology, followed by an MSc in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience at the University of Aberdeen, where I earned commendations for field interpretation and exploration work using real UKCS data.
Following my academic studies, I joined Premier Corex in 2021 as a Geologist and Project Coordinator. In this role, I worked on operational fluid sequence assessments and formation damage studies. I developed skills in geological analysis using Dry SEM, Cryo SEM, and Nano-CT imaging with Avizo software to deliver reliable interpretive data.
Now, having progressed to Senior Geologist at Premier Corex, I independently manage global geological projects—ensuring technical accuracy, quality assurance, and client satisfaction. My responsibilities include project planning, procurement oversight, global resource mobilisation, cost control, and risk management. I’m regularly involved in client presentations, technical reporting, and post-project reviews, strengthening both customer confidence and internal collaboration.
I’ve gained hands-on, independent project management experience across the UKCS, NCS, Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. I hold industry knowledge of drilling operations, fluid systems, and well completions. I maintain a strong focus on formation damage, reservoir performance, and petrophysics, with the ability to interpret simulated operational sequences through coreflood performance to assess formation damage and production enhancement.
