- Responsible for supplying local sites with inter site vehicular movements with feedstock to keep the plants running efficiently and on time and remove waste products
- Organising necessary vehicular maintenance/servicing/cleaning requirements with minimal disruption to the process operations whilst conforming to the relevant safety standards
- Ensuring all visiting drivers are aware and respond to the sites safety standards
- Liaising with the other Tradebe sites and being a central hub for queries and requests
- Maintaining and monitoring Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for the Northeast sites for transport costs and cost per tonne efficiencies
- Responsible for the monitoring and organising movement of the skips on the Northeast sites, ensuring timely disposal of waste materials
- Maintain purchase requisitions/purchase orders on the SAP system including creation, amendments and cancellations through to clearing invoices for payment
- Completion of vehicle checks – Making sure drivers are licensed to carry hazardous waste, weight tolerances are within the legal limits, no leaks on the vehicle, labelled correctly and carrying written instructions for the load
- Completion of month end tasks (completing outstanding purchase orders and sales orders for invoicing)
- Maintain a weekly movement report for transport costs for internal deliveries between sites
- Liaising with suppliers for placing orders and chasing deliveries
- Creating relevant Hazchem plates for UK/Export Bulk loads
