I have had experience as an apprentice valve technician at Score (Europe). Working in this environment has given me the passion for the industry. I have excellent attention to detail with specialised work evidenced by my ability to complete projects.
I have an excellent work ethic, I have had no sick time and have attended work daily on time. My attention to detail is evidenced by my completion of an SVQ 2 in Performing Engineering Operations at SCQF Level 5. I am a motivated individual who is wanting to further a career that I am passionate about.
I am an excellent team player as during my time at Score (Europe) I worked on larger projects requiring teamwork. I am also excellent at working alone evidenced by my ability to complete valves on my own. Prior to working at Score (Europe), I worked in retail which has honed my experience in customer service.
I am looking for a new opportunity to excel in a new environment and bring my skills and experience to a new company.
Apprentice valve technician - Score (Europe)

During my time at Score (Europe) I handcrafted and machined various components and undertook graphic design drawings. In my second year I was in the live workshops where I would do pressure testing on small valves and quality checking. On my third year I was involved in full overhaul of large valves as well as pressure testing and quality checking and preparing them for shipping to customer.
On my fourth year I was working with subsea equipment and high-pressure testing. At Score (Europe) I did various courses such as working with an overhead crane, pressure testing, torquing and learning essential valve knowledge.
Shop assistant - SPAR Fraserburgh
(2018-01 - 2019-12)
As a shop assistant I was responsible for keeping the shop floor tidy, date checking food and drink as well as serving customers. This role improved my customer service skills and my attention to detail.
Cleaner - Prime seafoods Fraserburgh
(2017-01 - 2018-12)
During my time here I was responsible for power washing dirty fish boxes and cleaning the warehouse, so it was up to health and safety standards. This improved my understanding of legislation and the importance of working to code.
