As an accomplished Casting Director, with extensive experience in scouting and acquiring cutting edge stylish and unconventional talent from a variety of sources, I provide cast for clients across all fields of advertising, fashion, and music. Due to my background running the women’s division at Models 1 and subsequently my photographic agency, representing fashion & beauty photographers, stylists, hair & makeup, my entire approach to casting has been centred around aesthetics; identifying the perfect faces for the product/brand whilst improving awareness regarding current trends and fashion. Due to my understanding of and experience in scouting talent, I have specialised in street casting throughout my career, believing that if the cast appears authentic, people are far more likely to connect with them and them and subsequently in the product being advertised..

After starting my career as a Model Booker & subsequently running the Women’s Board at Models 1, when I moved into Casting it was clear from the start that by being inspired by aesthetics I am better suited to working within advertising, music videos (even A&R) than I am working on features. Consequently I realised that rather than being confined by the need for experienced actors, I could scout the streets until I found the exact face that I needed and from there, having coined the term ‘Street Casting’, that style of casting has become the bench mark for authenticity. Since then I have been building my database of unrepresented talent from a variety of sources including online, music festivals, colleges bars, and clubs, many of whom could become professional models if they want to.

After directing 5 commercials in my first year @ RSA I returned to casting and the financial security that came with it.
