Currently a HLTA/ access arrangement assessor at Ysgol Y Grango. My role included supporting the RP teachers as well as running my own lessons and interventions . I also test learners for AA as well as supporting the ALNCo when needed .
Interventions I have ran include : SWEET ,Social Skills, SAP, Read write ink.
Over the last 6 years in education my experience has grown each year . From starting it as a level 1 teaching assistant at Darland, to completing my level 3 in supporting and teaching learning to moving over to Grango where I was a level 2,3 and now a HLTA. I have learnt to understand how the new ALN transformation has developed , understood how to deal with challenging behaviour in and outside the classroom, to moderate learning difficulties to pupils with ASD etc . i am able to support a learner in and outside the classroom .
