After graduating in Italy in Modern Languages, I decided to continue to travel to France and the UK to enrich my knowledge of both cultures, but finally settled in the UK. I started as a sales assistant, followed by teaching Italian at GCSE Level at the local college, but I soon found the corporate world a good match for me. I switched to Business Administration, as a Personal Assistant in a financial company; I loved the fast-paced environment and found it exciting.
In my previous role as an Executive Assistant at SITA, I was directly assigned to a Vice President. My responsibilities included management of multiple diaries, notetaking, booking hotels and flights, renting conference rooms, ordering catering for meetings, sending executive correspondences, and taking phone calls. I also managed and supported small projects.
I strive to provide accurate work, good communication and continued support. I can work independently, but also as a member of a team. I feel it is important to be always reliable and professional. One of the most enjoyable parts about being an Executive Assistant is to be able to proactively manage scheduling, identify and resolve issues.
Confidentiality and professionalism are key to this role, and I take pride in representing the company I work for with integrity and respect.
