Fashion designer specialising in experimental jerseywear, garment development and hands-on sample making. Experienced in taking garments from concept and draping through pattern cutting, fittings, construction and production preparation. Following professional experience with a womenswear brand in Antwerp, I have continued developing my independent jerseywear practice alongside freelance fashion and technical design work. Freelance Fashion Designer / Technical Designer at Self-employed (2025-01 – Present)

• Provide freelance fashion design and technical support for womenswear and streetwear clients, from concept development through production preparation.
• Create technical flats, tech packs, garment specifications, colourways and print placements; advise on fit, construction, fabrics and trims.
• Create production-ready documentation, garment mock-ups and visual assets using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, communicating revisions and technical details clearly with clients.

Independent Fashion Designer – Cakie McCall at Self-initiated practice (2024-01 – Present)

• Develop an ongoing jerseywear practice exploring movement, distortion, proportion and playful garment construction.
• Design and make garments from research and concept through draping, pattern cutting, sampling, fittings and final construction.
• Create technical flats and garment specifications; source fabrics and trims; calculate fabric consumption, production time, costs and pricing.
• Experiment with screen printing, puff ink, dyeing, hand-painted finishes and fabric manipulation for portfolio, website and social media.

Fashion Design Intern at Florentina Leitner (2023-12 – 2024-05)

• Led development of 12 jersey styles for FW24 across draping, pattern cutting, sampling, fittings, finishing and production preparation.
• Produced jersey garments for runway and buyer orders, including T-shirts and dresses, while maintaining fit and construction consistency.
• Prepared technical packs, garment specifications, wash labels and supplier information; coordinated fabrics, trims and production details across European suppliers.
• Supported fittings and sample refinement through to finalisation, balancing design intention with practical construction and production requirements.
