As a recent graduate in Interior Design from Politecnico di Milano, I am embarking on an exciting journey in London to expand my horizons in the world of design. While my passion lies in creating captivating interiors, I am eager to explore various facets of design that push boundaries and inspire innovation, particularly in the film industry's Art Department.
Starting in June 2023, I embarked on the journey of conceptualizing and launching my independent clothing brand, overseeing everything from its initial concept and design to the production process and the strategic marketing of the products. Between September and December 2022, I co-created and designed handcraft jewelry pieces and sold them at private fairs and events. I also took on responsibilities such as managing inventory, handling sales transactions, and interacting with customers.
In February 2022, I had the opportunity to work as a Set Designer. I collaborated closely with the production team to bring to life the visual aesthetic of an English/Italian low-budget short film titled "Day 4." The result of our efforts was highly acclaimed, with the film winning four international prizes, receiving three nominations, and earning an honorable mention at the London Seasonal Short Film Festival.
From 2020 to 2023, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design at Politecnico di Milano, renowned in the QS Rankings as one of the top 4 Design universities in Europe, achieving a grade of 98 out of 110. During my program, I engaged in a diverse range of practical modules, enhancing my skills and knowledge. These modules encompassed Film Set Design, Exhibition Design, Hotel Design tailored for individuals with dementia, Yacht Design, Social design addressing the needs of Ukrainian immigrants, and the utilization of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and 3D modeling tools.
Furthermore, I delved into crucial theory-based modules that enriched my understanding of the field. These included subjects like Lighting Design, Material Design, and comprehensive explorations into the History of Art, Design, and Architecture. Additionally, my studies covered economic aspects and provided strategic insights into the design sector.
