Quantity Surveyor with over 7 years experience. Looking for a hybrid role with room for professional growth.
I am currently seeking new opportunities as a Quantity Surveyor. I bring over seven years of industry experience, having worked across a range of commercial fit-out and development projects. Most recently, I spent two years as an Assistant Surveyor at Gardiner & Theobald in London, where I gained valuable experience working within a large corporate environment, primarily focusing on CAT B commercial fit-out schemes.
Prior to this, I spent five years at Quantem Consulting, progressing from Trainee Surveyor to Surveyor. During this time, I was responsible for managing my own projects and developed strong technical knowledge across the full lifecycle of a project. My core competencies include measurement, procurement, estimating, valuations, and managing cost plans from inception to completion.
Over the past eight years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of projects within the construction industry. This practical exposure has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying. With my accumulated professional experience and academic background, I am now preparing to complete my APC and achieve chartered status.
While I am not yet chartered, the breadth and depth of experience I have gained over the past eight years demonstrate my capability as a competent Quantity Surveyor. My practical knowledge, project involvement, and professional responsibilities consistently reflect a level of expertise that exceeds that of a typical trainee or graduate surveyor.
I initially undertook a Quantity Surveying degree at the University College of Estate Management, completing nearly two years of study before pausing for personal reasons. I later continued my academic development at the University of Westminster, where I completed an additional year in the same discipline.
