This role is based on me working with customers. In the mornings I will open up the store put the cash float in the till and prepare the clinic for the day and make sure all the machines are ready to use. Once the customer has had there eye test I would take the hand over from the optometrist in this time I would discuss the results of the eye test with them and take measurements for there glasses to be made up by the lab once this was done I wold take payment for there glasses rather by cash or card.
At the end of the day I would do the cashing up and lock up. I make appointments over the phone and also face to face I deal with customers inquirys whatever that might be I also sort confidential files and make sure all appointments are booked correctly for the optometrist and audiologist
