I got bursary to William Hulmes Grammar School and left in 1998 after achieving Alevels, in English literature & language. Following this inmate teens/early 20s worked at Granada Studios Tours in The Burger King, dealing with excessive numbers of customers everyday, providing high customer service/hygiene and handling cash daily.
In 2000 I started work as Medical Receptionist at Bodey Medical Centre, progressing after 2 years to Medical Secretary. I stayed in this job 16years, leaving when having third child. Confidentiality and efficiency was vital in that role. Liasing between patients & hospitals, money/card exchanges for letters etc. Audiotyping, ensuring a caring environment. Prioritising urgent referrals. Retrieving test results.
After a break with my 3rd child (autistic) covid hit and following this I did Property Viewings for my brother who was working at Purple Bricks. Really enjoyed it. Meeting different people which I enjoy, ensuring good timing, being approachable for any queries.
I returned to employment at The Didsbury Parsonage, in November 2023 an old heritage, exhibits building as part time cleaner. I met many people entering building, guiding them around or having conversations about the old buildings history. I quickly advanced to covering the office as required. Taking payments for paintings, handly enquiries. Ensuring great communication with the teachers in the classes, to the artists and ofcourse the visitors.
However I'm now at age looking for a long term role and really enjoyed showing houses. Really love interacting with people. I am a very enthusiastic person, some say I'm always happy. I love properties too so combined it's a really enjoyable job for me.
I'm used to looking after children, attending every school trip. Love of animals, I own 4 cats and love dogs.
I am a self confessed chatterbox, I thrive off interaction with people.
In various roles I've gained skills in:
A levels English Lit & Language
