I achieved a 2.1 BSc from The University of Sheffield where I focused on research methodologies and data analysis, highlighted in my dissertation “Information Processing in Statistics Anxiety”. This gave me the opportunity to familiarise and be confident in analysing complex data and deriving robust insights.
In addition to my academic achievements, I also have diverse work experiences which have sharpened my communication and interpersonal skills. My roles in customer service environments such as The Victoria Hotel and Marriott required high levels of communication, adaptability and organisational skills. Combined with my volunteer work in Sheffield Down Syndrome Support Group (SHEDS) and Mental Health Matters (MHM) Society, these experiences have challenged me in which I have gained confidence in working in stressful environments. My travel experience has furthered my confidence and adaptability, broadening my cultural awareness and appreciation.
I have an extreme attention to detail which has grown throughout my studies, and have a passion in using new creative methods to support individuals. I am confident that my analytical abilities, academic background and enthusiasm for an Assistant Psychologist role. I look forward to pursuing my career in Clinical Psychology.
