A lifelong animal lover, looking to further my experience with animals within a medical facility, alongside attending Plumpton College for Conservation and Behavior. My aim is to become a qualified Conservationist in the future, and I am keen to gain as much exposure to animals and animal care as possible.

Volunteer Husbandry Support - Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital - Chichester

• General handling for a range of animals, including foxes, hedgehogs, rabbits and various birds
• Assisted x-ray preparation, stock management and daily deep cleaning, in line with COSHH regulations

Volunteer - Paws Animal Sanctuary - Findon

Husbandry support two to three times a week throughout the summer.

• General cleaning and feeding of a range of animals, including donkeys, horses, chickens, guinea pigs, cats, parrots, tortoises and rabbits

Volunteer - North Barn Kennels and Cattery - Lancing

One full day every week for six months, supporting residential cats and dogs, as well as those rescued through WADARS.

• Dog walking, feeding, administering prescribed medication, grooming, cleaning, stock management and supervised play

Volunteer - Various - Tenerife

Two weeks volunteer work across multiple animal welfare initiatives.

• Whale and Dolphin Conservation: Whale and dolphin fin identification to support tracking for migration and breeding patterns
• Dog rescue: Attended three dog rescue centres to raise money and awareness for adoption
• Completed a mountain trail called Camino de Candelaria
• Raising money via a GoFund me page
• Arranging and managing a rehoming day
• Designing and making merchandise
• Successfully raised EUROS 1,500 and rehoming three dogs
