I am a 20-year-old who currently works at East Midlands airport with G4S as a cargo screener. I am seeking another job as I’d like to move on and start a career that’s centred around helping others and believe I have the perfect skills to do this. .

I live in Syston, Leicester.

I am hardworking, polite and think that I work very well as part of a team.

I am currently employed at East Midlands Airport in Castle Donnington with G4S as a Cargo screener, where my duties include x-ray screening cargo that is due to fly on planes, providing security on the gatehouse where the cargo comes in and out and ensuring the overall safety and security of operations for DHL. I have also worked within hospitality doing customer-facing jobs such as waitressing for large events including weddings, celebration dinners and parties. I also waitressed and served drinks in a small pub near where I live.

This has led me to develop excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.

I currently hold GCSE qualifications, I achieved: English Language- 5

English Literature- 3

Maths- 4

Biology- 5

Chemistry- 4

Physics- 4

BTEC Sport- Level 2 Merit

Travel and Tourism- Level 2 Pass Computing- 3

I also hold certificates in aviation security, dangerous goods handling, health and safety, manual handling and fire safety just to name a few. I have gained these through my current position as a cargo screener at East Midlands Airport and my previous position as a waitress.
