Once again I entered the role of a teaching assistant which si a role I always loved, I wanted to get back into education and explore the possibilities of broadening my education and obtain experience to enable me to possibly obtain my QTS as my current teaching qualification of a PGCE only covers some areas of teaching. This was no a possibility due to lack of availability within the school and is soemthing I would in the future like to explore but very much enjoy the job I have now of assitanting in education of those with a huge variety of different SEN needs. Im currently working within the education department but have 2 years experience specialised in sensory and believe I hold enough experience to fulfill my role.

Within my tolerance as a care assitant I wanted to explore all different sides of SEN from education to care, I was able to explore SEn within adults in this role and obtained different training such as medication training, and a level 3 care certificate, allowing me to broaden my education. Within my role as a SEN teaching assistant i had many different responsibilities in which I will go into further detail of, I enjoyed exploring SEN as my previous teaching experience was withing college including some students on the spectrum which made me invested in knowing more about SEN in general. My role included these responsibilities and is something im confident in performing.
