I'm a conscientious and professional fabrication welder with extensive experience in the field and currently seeking a new position. I have worked in many positions throughout my working career with most of my experience held in the various methods of welding. I consider myself a highly organised and efficient individual whose thorough and precise approach to projects has yielded excellent results.

Having been made redundant due to the company going into liquidation on 1/8/24 Being the reason I am looking for work. I am fit and healthy.

Through my many years experience in the fabrication sector and wider years in the workforce I have learnt and expanded my skills and abilities. I spent nearly 30 years welding for Vauxhall Motors until its closure and again spent 16 years welding for another company until its closure. I am a quick learner and can pick up and follow instructions easily. These qualities make it easier for me to quickly put any new skills into practice.

My most important skills include:

● Proficient and familiar with most types of welding

● Reading and understanding drawings and plans

● Excellent communication skills

● Counterbalance Forklift truck experience

● Full UK driving licence with 7.5 tonne capability

● Fire safety marshal training

I am an incredibly hard worker who is also very reliable and polite. I will do anything asked of me to the best of my ability and very capable of working independently or within a group whichever the current project requires. I am capable of fixing anything if necessary and consider myself to be handy with DIY skills, very good with people.

I have excellent time keeping and a 100% attendance record. I'm always interested in learning new skills and techniques. I would say I'm an employee who is loyal to the very end. I have never considered myself someone who gets bored very easily so any prospective employer can be assured I will be an asset to their workforce.

I am always proud of the work I produce and I feel that pride comes across in my precision and attention to details.

I am very good with the general public quite happy to spend the day moving around.
