I'm a property maintenance specialist with over 20 years of hands-on experience, focusing especially on damp, mould and condensation issues across residential and social housing. I hold recognised qualifications including Level 3 DMCB, UKAME Tier 2 & 3, and IICRC WRT certification, and I'm very familiar with important standards like Awaab's Law and HHSRS. I enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish – whether that's diagnosing what's causing a problem, planning the right solution, or working alongside other trades to get the job done well.
I'm comfortable talking to tenants, explaining things clearly and simply, and making sure people feel informed and at ease when I'm working in their homes. Safety and doing a thorough, lasting job are always my priorities.
Damp & Mould Remediation / Maintenance Operative at LC Construction Ltd (2023-01 – Present)
My main role is identifying and resolving damp, mould and condensation issues in social housing. I carry out detailed surveys to understand exactly what's causing problems, then write up clear reports and plans for the necessary work – which can include repairs, ventilation upgrades or general building improvements. I'm often the main point of contact for tenants, so I make sure to keep them updated throughout any work and address any concerns they might have.
I work closely with other trades to get jobs finished safely and on time, keep accurate records, and always check my work thoroughly before finishing.

I helped organise auction events and property clearances, as well as driving Class 2 vehicles to transport stock, equipment and waste safely and legally. I also carried out general repairs, cleared and tidied properties, and learned to work efficiently even when things were busy and time was tight.
