I'm a motivated and reliable individual with experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting CCTV, video, lighting and audio systems in multiple venues across Scotland. I am a good communicator with the public and stakeholders with strong practical skills, experience using hand tools and working safely on-site and a keen interest in developing a career in the electrical industry. I am looking to develop on the skills I currently have and build technical knowledge through an apprenticeship while contributing to a professional team.

AV technician at Scotsman group (2025-09 – Present)

Installation and maintainance of audio, lighting, video and CCTV systems across multiple commercial sites throughout Scotland

• Carry out fault finding on different AV equipment
• Pull, terminate and test cables for installations
• Responding to call outs on night shift to resolve problems under time pressure
• Work independently and in a team to install and maintain systems
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow health and safety procedures when on site
• Liaise with venue staff to ensure equipment is tested and set up in time for events
• Sound engineer for numerous venues, ensuring shows run smoothly and on schedule
