Commercial and Industrial Carpet Fitter
Send a job offer directly to this candidate
I am a highly motivated individual with 10 years of floor fitting experience. Both my brothers and dad are carpet fitters, so it has always been within me to learn the skills and develop my own take on fitting. At the age of 14 I began to learn the craft and quickly found my way into the industry at the age of 18.
I have my own van, tools, and public liability insurance. Following route plans and finding address has been something within my daily, working in London this can be complex and bring challenges, which has enhanced my time management and organisation skills as well as ‘on road’. Having to face customers daily I have developed strong communication and customer service skills which I feel are an essential part of the role as I am representing not only myself but another's business.
I embrace the physicality of the job and have no issues with loading and moving materials. I take pride in my work and complete each job to a high standard, have great attention to detail particularly when it comes to seeming, winders and stair runners, gaining positive reviews and feedback. I have attached my current CV and appreciate your time in looking over my credentials and reading this cover letter.
